Host Information: The R@H Portal
Thank you so much for becoming a Refugees at Home host.
The next thing you need to do is login to our online Portal. In the Portal you can view and update your own information. The information you provide really helps us to match you with a suitable guest. You can go back into the Portal at any time to update your information if anything changes.
If we ask you to host someone, we will share their details with you in the Portal. This ensures that only you can see the information, and everyone’s data is kept secure. We communicate with our Home Visitors securely too so that they can receive details of home visits they will be carrying out, and send the report from the home visit to us.
We use a Microsoft system to ensure that all our data is kept safe and secure.
You will receive an email from invites@microsoft.com. Click on the ‘Accept invitation’ link in the email and follow the instructions to login to the Portal for the first time.
Once you are in the Portal, to update your details click on ‘My Profile’ at the top right of the screen and select ‘Profile’ from the drop-down menu.
When you want to come back to the Portal again, click on the ‘Portal Login’ button at the very bottom of any page on our website.

Troubleshooting tips for using our portal
- Please use the same email address to login to the Portal that you used when you first applied to host with us. (This will be the email address that the Microsoft invitation was sent to.)
- The invitation emails sometimes go into spam/junk folders, so please check there first if you haven’t received your email.
- Once you have successfully accepted the login invitation, you should delete the Microsoft email as it can only be used once. Use the ‘Portal Login’ button at the bottom of our website when you want to return to the Portal.
